This study investigates the extent to which individuals working as "cleaners" in the Republic of Mauritius, perceive their jobs to be "decent" according to the parameters set by ILO (2008a). The objectives of the study have been set as follows:
1. To assess the employment dimension of decent work among cleaning workers in Mauritius.
2. To investigate on the social protection dimension of decent work among cleaners in Mauritius.
3. To examine the rights at work dimension of decent work among cleaners in Mauritius.
4. To investigate into the details of the social dialogue dimension of decent work among cleaners in Mauritius.
