I hold a PhD in Knowledge Management, an M.Sc. in Agricultural Communication and Extension, and a B.Sc. (Hons). I have over 32 years of work experience, 10 years in India, and around 22 years in Mauritius in coordinating multi-disciplinary projects. Currently, I am responsible for the Blue and Green Innovation theme and the Regional and International Cooperation programme at the Mauritius Research and Innovation Council (MRIC), wherein bilateral and multilateral collaboration between Mauritius, Australia, South Africa, India, UK, and Hong Kong have been developed. I am also the MRIC Project Lead for the EU funded ‘Transformation of the waste sector towards a waste-energy nexus in the Southwest Indian Ocean region (TWENex)’ project, implemented by the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) in collaboration with the MRIC.
